About Nancy Bullock:
I’ve been in love with color as far back as I can remember. My grandfather was a foreman in a copper mine and I have early memories of afternoons spent pouring though his collection of rough nuggets of fools gold, thick sheets of translucent mica and smooth agates My mother (patient soul) taught me to sew, and then stepped back and gave me the space to play with colors and textures to my hearts content. Somehow, these childhood experiences have come together in my present day designs.
I’m seldom happier than when I’m working in my studio, surrounded with the tools of my trade. I love the physical aspect of making jewelry – sawing, forming, joining and soldering. Equally exciting to me is working with gemstones and pearls gathered from all over the world.
I love being able to share my passion with others.
A percentage of all proceeds from the sale of my jewelry is donated to breast cancer research, in honor of my mother; a strong, beautiful cancer survivor |
